Started out as vent-art but then turned into a message.

So please read!
If you haven't been reading my recent Journal entries, then here's the current situation.

Myself and :iconblack-heart-spiral: are dealing with the worst case of art-thieves at the moment.
They are going around using her character Ravenwing [link] and my character Nemora. [link]
These aren't the first characters their doing this with but ours just seem to be their current interest.

They re-name them and claim all stolen artworks of them as their own and refuse to take any posted pictures down. If any links with the original sources of the images are thrown at them as proof, they claim to have permission to use the art which they do not.
The worst part is that they're going around requesting and commissioning other artists to draw "THEIR" characters for them. I've had two artists come up to me and deeply apologize to me as they've fallen for their tricks.

Reports of these people have been sent out but they're stubborn and every time "their" pictures or accounts get taken down, they just make new ones.


So please, please, if you see anyone using any look-alikes, re-colors or otherwise similar characters to Ravenwing and Nemora, do not - I repeat - DO NOT accept any requests or commissions from them.

Watch out for the names of LadyBlackShadow and Onix.

holy crap I got goosebumps when I played the music X_x I'm really sorry this is happening to you and :iconblack-heart-spiral: I'm a fan of both of you guys and it really pisses me off to see people do this. What REALLY sucks is that I've fallen for art thieves' tricks without even realizing it because, unfortunately, there's no way you can tell you're faveing a stolen piece unless you KNOW its stolen :/ hope these two learn a lesson in some way or another ><
